A first class, professional recording and production company, based in suburban Tayside. The Simply Burns CD was recorded here.

EMB Graphics
A freelance graphic design studio located in Aberfeldy, Perthshire, offering various design solutions for print and web. EMB Grapics designed and produced the CD insert.

 

Ian Walker
A well known Scottish folk musician and song writer. Ian Walker is now based in Bo´ness in East Central Scotland but he was raised three stairs up in a Glasgow tenement with his deeper family roots stretching back to the bothies of Banffshire and the Ayrshire of Robert Burns´ time.

Polly Pullar
A freelance journalist and part-time wildlife guide, Polly contributes to a wide range of publications specialising in wildlife, countryside topics, farming and characters, illustrated with her photographs. She has regular columns and features in several magazines.

Kenmore Hotel
Robert Burns in 1782 was so struck by the area, that he composed a poem sitting on the bridge over the Tay and wrote it in pencil on the chimney breast of the fireplace in the Poet's bar of the hotel where it is to this day.

The Watermill
A terrific bookshop in Aberfeldy which was the venue of the very first Simply Burns performance.

KRFC
KRFC are a non-profit public radio station that serve the Northern Colorado region. Their vision is to be recognized as a respected voice of the community, creating a sense of place through excellent radio programming. KRFC broadcasts diverse music, local news and local public affairs. They are also keen fans of Simply Burns.

TMSA
The Traditional Music and Song Association was established in 1966 to promote, present and preserve the traditional music and song heritage of Scotland. Douglas is a National Director in the TMSA.

FolkWorks promotes folk and traditional music, dance and related arts by publishing an e-zine and presenting occasional concerts and dances.
